Beyond Conversion: Bring Your PDF Tables to Life

Precision Table Structure Recovery

The engine parses PDF table elements layer by layer — accurately restoring row-column layouts, merged cells, border styles, and alignment. The converted Excel file is ready to use, reducing manual table reformatting.

Built-in OCR for Scanned Tables

Scanned and photo-based PDFs are detected automatically — no manual toggle needed. The OCR engine supports multilingual recognition (English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and more), converting image-based table data into editable, calculable Excel cells.

Dual-Mode Flexible Conversion

Text mode extracts only selectable text content — fast and high-fidelity. OCR mode recognizes text within images — ideal for scanned and photo-based documents. Choose the best approach for your document type.

PDF to Excel Conversion FAQ

Will the table structure be preserved?

Our conversion engine restores the original table structure as closely as possible — including row-column layouts, merged cells, and border styles. For extremely complex tables (e.g. deeply nested structures), minor adjustments in Excel may be needed.

Can I convert scanned PDF tables?

Yes. Select 'OCR mode' during conversion — the system automatically recognizes table data in scanned and photo-based PDFs, converting image-based text into editable Excel cells. Supports English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and more.

Will formulas be preserved?

PDFs don't contain formulas — only the displayed values are stored. The converted Excel file will contain only the numeric content; you'll need to re-add formulas manually.

What's the difference between Text mode and OCR mode?

Text mode extracts only selectable text from the PDF — fast and highest fidelity, ideal for digitally-created PDFs. OCR mode recognizes text within images — ideal for scanned, photographed, or image-based PDFs.

What are the free plan limits?

Free users can convert PDFs up to 50 MB and 300 pages with no watermarks. Need more? Upgrade to Pro for files up to 2 GB.

Is it safe to convert PDFs containing financial data?

Your files are safe. All data is transferred via 256-bit encryption, processed on EU-based servers under GDPR compliance, and permanently deleted after processing.

Can I continue processing after conversion?

Yes. After conversion, the system recommends follow-up tools like compression, merging, and Word conversion. Click to continue — no re-uploading needed.
